![]() ![]() when i tried splicing parts together and have them crossfade at 0 points, there was still audible clicks/drops. it has audio editing yes, but it was not intuitive, again this was probably a learning curve i didnt have time to delve into. i believe this was due to analog lab being a shitty plugin, but FL studio never crashes this much even with multiple analog lab instances. ![]() i went deep dive in it for 1-2 weeks and it just kept crashing or stalling. S1 kept crashing, like enough times i was getting really frustrated. but, the fl studio UI is just so amazing and smooth.sigh its not intuitive, its ugly, and feels like crap. nothing beats FL studio MIDI editing and I've tried reaper, s1, ableton, reaper, all the others are garbage. the midi editor sucks compared to FL Studio. i dont know if its a glitch, but when horizontally scrolling with mouse, it kept zooming in! ugh, whyyyy i wasted so much time enabling/reenabling. sometimes i had all settings correct and it still wouldnt work! this drove me so crazy. i CONSTANTLY had to reenable snap to get it to work, select the bars/beats and then the quantize feature as well. call me crazy, but the snap feature does not seem robust at all. overall Studio one feels glitchy, and clunky, and crashy. an arranger window, this is such a freaking awesome lovely idea IN THEORY. keeps all files in one place, easy to change this has way better audio editing than FL studio, but this is also a gripe for me ![]() easy to organize things and colourize, easy on the eyes. ? mark gives you information about anything you want to learn. amazing built-in reference manual that shows you how to do everything. i imported my project into studio one, and there was some great things and not so great things. I do my work in FL studio, but audio editing sucks in FL, so I thought well hey S1 is the best of both worlds according to everyone online. I went to a pro studio this past week, the first time. I want to make this post for anyone else thinking of switching to S1, especially from FL Studio. ![]()
